Breakfast and After School Clubs

Breakfast Club

Here at Nelson Infant we offer a breakfast club, free of charge, for all children. Open from 7:45am Monday – Friday.

Our breakfast club aims to provide the highest standard of care in a secure and safe environment.

Children can choose from a range of breakfast options before participating in activities with our member/s of staff all of which have current DBS clearance.

Due to the high demand we have in place a booking system for our Breakfast Club – please contact the school office on office@nelsoninfant.org.uk or 01603 620344 to request a place for your child.  

After School Club

Nelson Infant School after-school provision is hosted by Wensum Junior School from the end of the school day until 6pm. We have a walking bus system in place to transport Nelson children to Wensum.

The children arrive at club and are offered a piece of fruit and have the opportunity to play with a variety of toys, read, do craft activities, homework, play games or they can play outside in the designated safe outdoor area. At 4.30pm the children get together for a snack tea, which includes a choice of sandwiches, crackers, breadsticks, fruit, vegetables and other options. 

Sessions cost £9 per child which includes food and drinks.
